Obituary of Jennifer L. King

Please share a memory of Jennifer to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
On March 2, 2014 our beloved Jennifer Lynn King, passed away unexpectedly at home. She was born in Whittier, CA., on January 19, 1979 and was the first child and only daughter of Denise Andrews and Henry King. She was a loving big sister to her brother Thomas King, born 16 months later. From the age of 4, she was raised by her mother whose life revolved around her children. Jennifer hugged and kissed her mother and told her how much she loved her every day they were together. She told her mother she would never leave her and would take care of her and live with her for the rest of her life. Jennifer was the first grandchild in our family and was greatly cherished and adored by all. In her 35 years on Earth, she overcame many of life's obstacles, despite numerous painful physical disabilities. Jennifer was baptized and loved the Lord and had faith and trust in Him. She attended church at Chestnut Assembly of God in Vineland. She always told her mother how good she felt after hearing Pastor Snook preach the Word and Promises of God. Marilyn Snook kept Jennifer in her prayers for many years. The memory of Marilyn attending Jennifer's high school graduation and the party following at home was a special event she treasured and reflected upon frequently throughout her life. Jennifer was great fun to be around and entertained us with many of her true stories that were so funny we laughed so hard that it hurt. She was talented and interested in so many things. She made beautiful jewelry, wrote poetry, sketched and drew pictures of various subjects. She wrote lyrics to songs and loved to sing and listen to music, especially Country Music. Her favorite singer was Reba McIntyre and she was thrilled to attend her concert in CT. Besides her family, she was blessed to have the love and support of her dearest friends, Jeanette Honrychs and Debbie Richardson. They became acquainted when Jennifer was hospitalized when they were her nurses. The affection and kindness they showed her was from their heart and it began a lifelong friendship. Two days before she died, she had spent 4 days with Jeanette and her husband Bob being loved and pampered like a princess as they always had. Jennifer will be deeply missed everyday of our lives. Besides her mother and brother, she leaves behind her grandmother, Colleen Andrews, Aunt Debbie and Uncle Loran Forbes, cousins Britney and Jessica. Aunt Linda and Uncle David Tiller and cousins Jamie and Lindsay. We grieve the tragic loss of our precious angel who left much too soon and hold onto the promises that she is in the presence of our Lord in heaven. Please join the family at a memorial service to celebrate Jennifer's life on Saturday, April 12th, 2014 at 12pm. It is at Jennifer's place of worship-The Chestnut Assembly of God Church, 2554 E.
