Florence Ann DeNofio (Martelette) 72 On the morning of July 13, 2014 Florence passed away surrounded by her loving family. She was born on January 26, 1942 in Vineland, New Jersey and is predeceased by her parents, Carmen and Pauline Martelette. She is survived by her two loving children, Patricia Zorzi (Alan) and Theodore DeNofio Jr. (Kim), her four adoring grandchildren; Alexis Taylor, Teddy DeNofio, Danny DeNofio and Alana Zorzi. She is also survived by her devoted sister, Olivia "Levy" Martelette and her fiance, Robert "Bobby" Barbetti. Her very close cousin, Donald Martelette (Mary) who was more like a brother. Florence graduated from Vineland High School. She was the beloved secretary/receptionist at Ted's Pet Country Club for over 15 years where she was loved by all who knew her. Her greatest obsession was her family. She was an amazing mom-mom to her grandchildren and took great pride in spoiling them, something she was very good at. They were her "little dolls" and best friends. Her devotion to her children was evident, giving anything they needed and always with a smile, ready in a moment's notice to help and guide. She loved nothing more than having all her family together, squeezed in around the kitchen table sharing the food that she lovingly prepared. She was an amazing cook and loved to entertain both family and friends, cherished her days in Ocean City with her aunt, Yolonda Petetti, traveling but she was the best at making people happy. Florence will be sadly missed. She will be best known for her courage, strength and awesome will to survive. All she wanted was to enjoy life and surround herself with those she loved. Florence and her sister Levy had a great life together in the home they shared for many years. Not only sisters but best friends creating memories and amazing stories both happy and sad that will be told for many years to come, real life Laverne and Shirley. If attending the services, the family asks that you wear a bit of the color blue in honor of Florence. It was her favorite color and would be a small tribute to her and her life. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 11am at Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Parish, St. Michael's Church, Minotola. Entombment will follow in All Saints Cemetery, 1300 Tuckahoe Rd, Newfield, NJ.
