Obituary of Sallie L. Belmont

Sallie Zarbo Belmont, 65, of Vineland, NJ, passed into the presence of her heavenly Father on July 9, 2014, after a brief battle with cancer. She is predeceased by her parents, Louis and Wilma Zarbo. She is survived by her husband, David C. Belmont and his parents, Clarence and Anne Belmont of Vineland; her son, Chad R. Muessig (Stefanie) and his children Brandon, Derek, Tyler, and Natalie of Vineland; her son, Kevin L. Muessig (Anna) and their children Dashiell and Ezekiel of Cherry Hill her dear friends, Sandy and Bill Sutherland and Tara Grohman; her beloved church family at Christ Community Church as well as other extended family and friends. Sallie was born on January 18, 1949, and raised in Vineland. A 1967 graduate of Vineland High School, she was employed in business administration in a variety of companies in South Jersey, including Venice Maid and Easter Seals. Most recently, Sallie worked as the office manager at Rodio Tractor in Hammonton. A lifelong dog lover and owner, Sallie enjoyed breeding and showing Rottweilers. In recent years, Sallie was an active member of Christ Community Church in Newfield, NJ, where she served on the Ladies Retreat Planning Committee, in the Music Ministry, in coordinating the Ushers Ministry, and in the Cafe Ministry with her husband. She attended Crafters and the Ladies Retreat. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd at 7pm at Christ Community Church, 201 Salem Avenue, Newfield, NJ 08344. Burial will be private. Family and friends may gather at the church on Wednesday from 6pm to 7pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Sallie's name to the Ladies Retreat Fund at Christ Community Church.
