Dominick A. Compotaro, 75 of Pittsgrove Township, died May 4, 2012 at home. Born in Vineland, he was a lifelong Vineland resident. He was employed by Kimble Glass Company in Vineland as a glass blower for over 30 years. He was a bartender at the Recreation Club, North Italy Club, Landis Country Club, Sons of Italy, and Wayside Inn. Dominick was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church and Brothers of the Bush. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, cooking especially at his crab parties, camping with his family and friends, singing, Civil Air Patrol, and reading. He also enjoyed cooking with the Breakfast Incorporated. He is predeceased by his parents, Ralph Compotaro and Antoinetta (Parave) Compotaro, daughter, Barbara Compotaro, brothers, Ralph, Nicholas, Carmine, Angelo Compotaro, twin boys and a brother 6 months old, sisters, Millie Hurst, Marguerita Compotaro, Josephine Day, and Twin sisters. Survived by: His wife of 57 years, Fay (Allen) Compotaro of Pittsgrove Son: Nicholas Compotaro of Vineland 2 Daughters: Antoinette "Ann" Curley and husband Tim of Vineland Patricia "Patty" Downey of Vineland Grandchildren: John Downey, Jr., and Richard Downey Nicole and Lisa Curley, and Joshua Miller all of Vineland Many cousins, nieces and nephews Memorial services will be held on Saturday, May 12 at 4pm at the DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland. Friends will be received on Saturday at the funeral home from 2pm to 4pm. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to his family, P.O. Box 156 Norma, NJ 08347.
