Joaquin Tirado, 71 of Vineland, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 6, 2014 surrounded by his family and close friends. He was born in Manati, Puerto Rico to Ricardo and Celia Tirado. Joaquin's passion was preaching the Gospel and evangelizing. He was invited to preach in many churches but his dedication to spread God's word was done through the radio station. He devoted a little over 20 years of his time in Radio Rey which he began in the early 90's and ended at WMIZ, La Zeta. He was known throughout Cumberland County as "The Voice" and his famous saying "Claro que si, Como que no" was his signature line. Joaquin also loved spending time with his family playing dominoes and listening to Mexican music. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Julia Tirado 4 children: Juan C. (Alexis) Tirado, Angel G. (Anette) Tirado, Jackeline (Wayne) Delancey and Abigail Tirado 6 grandchildren: Carington, Mackenzie, Nathan, Jamier, Jazara and Makayla all of Vineland. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11am at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland. Joaquin will be laid to rest at Siloam Cemetery, Vineland. Friends will be received on Thursday morning from 9am to 11am at the funeral home.
