Joseph Carmen Puglise, 69, born and raised in Upper Darby, PA, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at his residence in Millville, NJ surrounded by his wife and family. Joseph is survived by his wife of 44 years, Judith (Docherty) Puglise; daughter, Samantha (Puglise) Powell and spouse Phil; son, Michael Matthew Puglise and spouse Karen; two grandsons, Johnathon Puglise and Patrick Powell. His sister, Janet (Puglise) Bowman and spouse Richard; his sister, Kathy (Puglise) Egan and spouse Joe and brother, Michael Puglise and spouse Patricia. Nieces and nephews; Mark Docherty, Steven Egan, Lindsey Egan, Michael Egan, Kevin Bowman and Amanda Kirshner. He is preceded by his father, Carmen Joseph Puglise and his mother, Margaret (Orth) Puglise. Joseph graduated from Upper Darby High School. He was a SGT in the U.S. Air Force, stationed in Thailand during the Vietnam War as a communications expert. He was a terminal manager for Greyhound Lines in Scranton, PA, and a transportation specialist for Coach USA in Atlantic City, NJ. Joe enjoyed going on cruises with his wife and sister Kathy and traveling to the islands in the Caribbean. In his younger years, he was a pool shark, and an avid bowler. Joe will be greatly missed and always loved in our hearts. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 1pm at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland. Burial will be private. Family and friends will be received on Saturday at the funeral home from 11am to 1pm. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Inspira Home Care and Hospice, 1138 E. Chestnut Ave. Vineland, NJ.
