Obituary of Sharon L LaRosa

Sharon L. (McGonigal) LaRosa, 78, of Vineland, passed away on Friday, January 23, 2015 to be with the Lord. She was born at Union Lake and was the daughter of the late John and Jean (Hanna) McGonigal. She graduated early from Sacred Heart High School, she was a Miss Cumberland County Beauty Queen. Sharon worked as a bar maid in her earlier years, and also owned American Cleaners along with her husband, and later on worked at Wheaton's. She was a loving mother, sister and aunt with a soft kind hearted compassionate nature. Sharon was a Girl Scout leader, an avid reader, enjoyed singing, cooking, and being with her family and loved ones, and her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Frank LaRosa; son, Mark LaRosa; and brother, Joseph Witt. Sharon is survived by seven children; Edward LaRosa of Vineland, Audrey Blank (John) of Franklinville, Linda Caregnato (Leon) of Vineland, Lisa Miller (David) of Vineland, Nina Fox of Elmer, and Cory and Terri Cassaboon; brother, John McGonigal of Virginia; 9 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday morning from 10:00am to 12:00pm at the DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home, 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland followed by a funeral service at 12:00pm at the funeral home. Sharon will be laid to rest at Siloam Cemetery, Vineland.
