Obituary of Harry L. Hackney

Harry Lawrence Hackney, formerly of Vineland, passed away unexpectedly on June 24th in Bastrop, TX, where he currently resided. He was employed by Whole Foods Corp as a data storage administrator for over 18 years. Harry enjoyed classic cars, his Saturn Sky, computers, The Beatles, playing music, and his special passion, collecting Hot Wheels cars. Harry was a gentle and kind soul who was loved by everyone who knew him. He will be sadly missed by all his family, friends, and coworkers. He was predeceased by his father, Ralph Edward of Atlantic City. Harry is survived by his mother, Annette (Scarpa) Charlton, his brothers Ralph, Lawrence, and Wayne, his sister Joan Mason, daughter Melissa, his stepdaughters Laura and Nicole, His stepson Nick, grandchildren Kailani, Sebastian, Tristan, Ada, Jacob, Jocelynn, and Lucy. Harry is also survived by nieces Erin, Tara, Donna and Deanna, nephews Ralph, Ryan, Noah, Nathaniel, and Charles, and his beloved four legged friend, Zuni. Memorial services will be held on Sunday, July 5, 2015 at 2:00pm at the DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland. A gathering of family and frineds will be held prior to the service from 1:00pm to 2:00pm at the funeral home. Please dress casual as Harry was all about casual. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Heart Association 1 Union Street, Suite 301, Robbinsville, NJ 08691-4183.
