Obituary of Beatrice Bergonzi

Beatrice Bergonzi, 94 of Buena Vista Township, NJ, passed away on Monday, April 18, 2016 at the New Jersey Veterans Memorial Home, Vineland. Born in the New Italy Section of East Vineland, NJ to John and Mary (Franks) Periconi. She was a lifelong resident of Buena Vista Township where she and her husband worked the family farm. She was later employed at the Minotola #2 Elementary School in the cafeteria. Beatrice enjoyed cooking for her family, especially Sunday dinners. She liked going to the casinos, crocheting, and making memories with her family and friends. She is predeceased by her husband, Albert Bergonzi; 4 brothers, John, Buddy, Leroy and Robert; 1 sister, Irene Guida. Beatrice is survived by 2 daughters; Donna Bergonzi of New Mexico and Brenda McNeill (Dan) of Florida; 2 grandchildren, Mike McNeill and Amy Brunetta (Chris); 2 great grandchildren; Katie Brunetta and Michael McNeill. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Thursday at 11am at Padre Pio Parish, St. Mary's Church, Union Road, East Vineland. Burial will be private. Family and friends will be received on Thursday morning from 10am to 10:45am at the CHURCH. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the NJ Veterans Memorial Home, Vineland-Welfare Fund, Attention: Freedom Center-Recreation Department, 524 NW Blvd. Vineland, NJ 08360 or Cumberland Co.
