Ramon "Neftali" Sanchez, 85, of Vineland passed away on Wednesday, May 18, 2016, at home peacefully with his family by his side.
Born in Angeles, P.R., he enjoyed horse racing and baseball. Most of all he enjoyed being around his family and telling stories.
He is predeceased by his loving wife of more than 50 years, Rosa M Sanchez; and 5 brothers and 6 sisters.
Neftali is survived by his son, Ramon Sanchez and wife Tina; daughter, Elizabeth Santiago and husband Jose; grandsons, Joey Santiago and Ray Sanchez; grand-daughter, Dominique Sanchez; great-grandson, Neftali Santiago and sister, Vicky Sanchez.
Family and friends will be received on Monday from 6pm to 8pm at the DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home, 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland. He will be laid to rest in Puerto Rico.
