Obituary of Joan L Ferro

Joan Loretta Ferro, 75, of Buena Vista Township, passed away on Saturday, June 4, 2016 after a battle with cancer. Joan was born in Millville, NJ on January 22, 1941. She was married to Frank, the love of her life, who preceded her in death in 1973. Joan was very dedicated to her family and loved spending time and cooking for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by four children; Debbie Pfister (son in law Tim) of Mystic Island, NJ, Leonard Ferro (daughter in law Karen) of Chattanooga, TN, Joanie Ferro of Hillsborough, NJ and Christina Ferro of Galloway, NJ. She was blessed with four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Her grandchildren include Jennifer Prettyman, Stephen Prettyman (spouse Melissa), Daniel Ferro, Alexander Ferro and her great grandsons, Austin and Peyton Prettyman. Additionally, Joan had numerous other family and friends. A Graveside Service and burial will be held on Thursday at 11:15am at Our Lady of Victories Cemetery, Landisville. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday evening from 6pm to 8pm and again on Thursday morning from 9am to 10:30am at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the American Cancer Society (Cancer.org) 1851 Old Cuthbert Road Cherry Hill, NJ 08034.
