Katharina Kennedy, 66 of Newfield, NJ passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at Inspira Medical Center, Elmer. Katharina was born in Bamberg, Germany on July 4, 1950 and was married to Raymond Kennedy on May 2, 1992 for 24 years. She worked as a manager for Dunkin Donuts for 13 years and enjoyed spending any free time she had in the casinos in Atlantic City and going out on the boat fishing and crabbing. She loved spending time with her 2 grandchildren and baking. Katharina is survived by her husband, Raymond Kennedy; sister, Caroline Bertino; 2 children, Raymond Kennedy and Maria Garcia and 2 grandchildren, Andrew Garcia and Jacob Garcia. She is preceded in death by her mother, Maria Corrado and her father, Frank Lorenzo. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11am at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home, 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland. Katharina will be laid to rest at Gloucester County Veterans Cemetery, Williamstown, NJ. Family and friends will be received on Tuesday morning from 9am to 11am at the funeral home.
