Obituary of Gerald J. Ebner III

Gerald (Jay) Joseph Ebner III, age 44, of Vineland, passed away on October 9th, 2020 at Acuity Specialty Hospital in Willingboro, NJ due to injuries sustained from a serious fall accident in his home, February 9th, 2020.

Jay was born and raised in Vineland, NJ to Gerald Joseph Ebner Jr. and Edith Marie Cornett on April 25, 1976. He was a graduate of Vineland High School Class of 1995. He loved fishing, enjoyed tractor pulling with his dad, working on the farm, hunting, woodworking, and spending time with his family and friends. He was a kind hearted, loving, hardworking, and dedicated father.

Jay is preceded in death by his grandparents, Gerald Sr./Gloria Ebner, and Clarence/Dorothy Cornett. Jay is survived by two sons, Benjamin Ebner (14), Jayden Ebner (12) and former spouse Toni Dimitros-Ebner; two sisters, Michelle Ebner (David) and Dawn Ebner-Battle (Scott), two brothers, Anthony Ebner (Heather) and Brandon Ebner; his parents Gerald Joseph Ebner Jr. and Edith Marie Cornett; as well as several nieces, great nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers or gifts, memorial contributions may be made to his children Benjamin Ebner and Jayden Ebner.

Jay was often heard quoting his favorite scripture, The Golden Rule: Matthew 7:12

A gathering or friends and family will take place at 5:30pm followed by a memorial service at 6:00pm on Tuesday April 25th, 2023 at the Chestnut Assembly of God, 2554 E. Chestnut Ave, Vineland, NJ 08361

The family request that guest wear blue in Jays honor, which was his favorite color.
