Obituary of Sarah L. Montes-Viruet

Sarah Lee Montes-Viruet, 44, passed away suddenly on Thursday, December 12, 2024. Born on December 25, 1979, in Vineland, she graduated from Vineland High School and received her master's degree in business administration from Cumberland College. Sarah worked for Auto Finder, as an administrator for Edward Jones for four years, and for another four years at Morgan Stanley where she was in charge of pensions and retirement. She loved being around her children. She was loving, kind, happy and friendly to everyone. She loved gardening and the outdoors, she especially loved the beach and going to the lighthouse. She enjoyed cooking for her family and friends, taking long rides, and reading books. She was also a fan of the Green Bay Packers. Sarah is survived by her father, Luis M. Montes; her mother, Anatilde Ruiz-Acevedo; her husband, Angel L. Viruet; her daughter, Sianna; her three sons, Nasaiah, Aden Paulie, and Angel III; her brother, Elvis Almodovar; her nephews, Jeremiah Montes and Joshua Almodovar; her stepfather, Ruben Ocasio; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her grandmother, Sara Sanchez; her niece, Amaya Rodriguez; and her sister, Jessica Montes. A gathering of friends and family will be held on Monday, December 23, 2024, from 3:00pm until 5:00pm at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home, 2755 S. Lincoln Avenue, Vineland. Interment will be held privately.
