Matthew W. Pinto, age 87, of Buena, New Jersey passed away peacefully at home with his loving wife of 49 years, Mary Jane at his side. Matt was born and raised in Hammonton. After retiring, he lived in North Carolina for 30 years before relocating back to New Jersey to be close to family.

Matt was employed by Local 825 Operating Engineers for many years. Some of his favorite past times were playing golf, making wine with his good friends in Hammonton, and traveling with his wife. He loved to dance and was always the life of the party.

Matt is survived by his wife, Mary Jane (Monfardini). Three children, Mary Ann (Pinto) Ford, Matthew (Gerri), and Michael (Angela); brother, Joe; sister-in-law, Deletta; brother-in-law, Ritchie DeMaria; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Matt was predeceased by his parents, Matthew and Marie (Dappolino) Pinto; brothers, Lou and Danny and sisters, Rosemarie (DeMaria) and Philomina (Cullen).

Friends and family will be received on Monday, December 30, 2024 from 10am to 11am followed by a service at 11am at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland. Entombment will follow at All Saints Cemetery, Newfield.
