Obituary of Peter J. Forcinito Sr.

Peter Forcinito, a beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend passed away peacefully on January 31, 2025, at the age of 95. Born and raised in Vineland, NJ where he remained a lifelong resident. He was the son of Joseph Forcinito and Catherine Granato. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Forcinito in 1975 and Catherine Nicastro Granato in 2004, mother-in-law; Carrie Larro in 1990, step parents; Beatrice Forcinito Zirillo in 1999 and Joseph Granato in 1993, grandson; Christopher Giannascoli in 2012, Rose Sampson in 2017, grandson; Justin Staropoli in 2020 and daughter-in-law; Lori Ann Forcinito in 2021.

Peter began his career at a young age working with his father in the family excavating business. Over the years, he built a reputation for dedication and skill in everything he did. He also spent 15 years serving as a Special Police Officer for the City of Vineland and later went on to be the original owner and operator of Forcinito's Carpet Cleaning Company. He retired after 28 years. The business is still in operation today, after 55 years through the dedication of his son, Peter.

Peter was married to his beautiful wife Madeline (Dea) for 77 years. Together, they shared a lifetime of memories, including building their own home. A story Peter loved to tell with pride. His sense of humor and zest for life shone through in every conversation, and he was known for his infectious laughter and quick wit.

While Peter was a proud homebody, he cherished spending time with his family. Whether it was attending family gatherings or simply enjoying a meal together, he treasured these moments above all else. In his younger years, Peter loved spending time at the beach, riding his dirt bike and most of all dancing with Madeline by his side.

Peter is survived by his loving wife Madeline; his children, Barbara Staropoli, (Rose Sampson, Life Partner), Gayle Bracaliello, (Gary), Carol Perrone, (Robert), Peter Forcinito (Lori Ann), Kathy Popolo and Joseph Staropoli (Son in Law); 2 brothers, Joseph Forcinito (Mary Beth Ballard) and Frank Forcinito (Colleen McDowell); 2 sisters, Joann Robbins (Ronnie) and Rosie Holdcraft (Jeff);14 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren, all of whom will remember him fondly for his kindness, strength, and unwavering devotion.

His legacy will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him.

Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, February 11, 2025 from 10am to 11:30am followed by funeral services at 11:30am at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland. Burial will follow at Olivet Cemetery, Pittsgrove.
