Obituary of Kurt Edwin McMahon

Kurt E. McMahon, 69, of Millville, NJ, passed away early Friday Morning, February 7, 2025 at Inspira Hospital Medical Center, Vineland, NJ. Kurt was born and raised in Millville, NJ, where he remained a lifelong resident, and was a graduate of Millville Senior High School in 1974. Upon graduation, Kurt was employed in the maintenance department by Wheaton Glass for over 25 years. During his employment, Kurt was an active member of the union and eventually served as union president. In his free time, Kurt loved to spend time with his family at his pool and was an avid Eagles and Phillies fan. Kurt enjoyed traveling with his friends Virgil, Quinny and Bateman, whom he also worked with. They went on many trips, both domestic and international. Among his favorites were visiting Fort Meyers, Florida, hiking the Grand Canyon, going to Canada to witness the migration of the polar bears, and Paris, France, where his brother Wayne joined the group. Additionally, Kurt visited many baseball stadiums around the country. Kurt is survived by his mother; Josephine McMahon, his sister; Delise Hennis and his brother; George McMahon Jr. and wife Suzanne. Kurt is also survived by his nephews; Greg Hennis Jr. and wife Carrie, Scott Hennis and wife Jill, Brent Hennis and wife Alyson, and Mark Ayars and wife Crystal. His nieces; Kara McMahon and Christina Sprague and her husband Josh. Kurt is predeceased by his father; George McMahon, his brother; Wayne F. McMahon, and brother-in-law; Greg C. Hennis. A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 13th at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home, located at 2755 S. Lincoln Ave in Vineland from 10:00am until 11:30am, with services to follow at 11:30am with Reverend Jonathan Merki of the Millville Nazarene Church will be officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Millville. Family and Friends are all welcome to attend. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the ministry of Ascend FM, 1100 E Landis Ave, Vineland, NJ 08360.
