Obituary of Delores Tirelli

Delores (Pennington) Tirelli, 88, of Vineland, NJ, passed away on Sunday, February 16, 2025 surrounded by her family. Delores was born in Commodore, PA and has been a resident of New Jersey since 1960. She was employed by Comar and Kimble Glass for over 32 years as a packer and also worked in food service for the Vineland Board of Education. Delores enjoyed reading, being with her family, spending time in her garden tending her flowers and vegetables, doing her word search puzzle books, and shopping with her sisters on weekends. She is predeceased by her husband, John Tirelli of Vineland, NJ; her sisters, Nancy and Joan Pennington of Vineland, NJ; her brothers, Harry (Norfolk, VA), Delbert (Seattle, WA), Robert (Salem, NJ), and William Pennington (Vineland, NJ), and her son in-law, Ralph Valerio of Cape May, NJ. Delores is survived by her daughter, Sonia Valerio of Vineland, NJ; grandchildren, Joshua Hickman (Carri Martinez) of Landing, NJ, Trisha Hickman and Codie Wells of Cambridge, OH., Ashley Valerio of Salem, OH., and Frank Rosado of Millville, NJ.; her great grandchildren, Chase and Lucas Valerio, Nicole Walsh, SkyLynn Adams, Declan Holt, Olivia Rosado, and Jameson Hickman; sisters, Peggy Sanders of Vineland, NJ and Betty Fleeger of New Castle, PA. along with many nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received on Thursday, February 20, 2025 from 5pm until 6:30pm with services at 6:30pm at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home, 2755 Lincoln Ave. Vineland, NJ. Burial will be private.
