Obituary of JoAnn C. Marquez

JoAnn Catherine Marquez, 85, of Vineland, NJ, passed away at home on February 16th, 2025.

JoAnn was born in Pottsville, PA to William and Catherine Dreher on January 14th 1940. She was raised alongside her four sisters. Her family moved to Norristown, PA where she met her husband Raimundo Marquez III in 1958. They spent six decades raising and watching their family grow in Vineland, NJ.

JoAnn was known for her love of the beach, animals and taking long weekend drives with her husband.

JoAnn is survived by her children; Lynne Berni of Fairton, JoAnn Hamblin of Port Norris, Beverly Marquez of Millville, Cynthia DiMatteo of Millville, Raimundo Marquez IV of Myrtle Beach, Kathleen Marquez of Philadelphia, along with 12 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and her sister Darlene.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Raimundo Marquez III (2021) and son Aaron Marquez (1960).

Friends and family will be received on Monday, February 24th from 10:00am until 11:00am followed by a funeral service at 11:00am at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home, 2755 S. Lincoln Ave. Vineland, NJ. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
