I am another Facebook friend. Years ago, I would never have imagined that real friendships would come from on online book group, but Maryann was one of quite a few who came to matter a lot. Our first connection cane from our love of dogs, but she continued to connect with many of us through life's ups and downs and with her unique sense of humor. She will be missed.
