Obituary of Kostas Kanos

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Kostas Kanos, age 87, of Vineland, NJ. He went to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 1, 2025.

Kostas was born in Chios, Greece and settled in Vineland, NJ. He was a proud mason and a gardener. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, and he was a proud parishioner of St. Anthony's Greek Orthodox Church in Vineland.

Kostas was predeceased by his loving wife, Kyriaky Kanos; the mother of his children, Amelia Kanos; his parents, Emmanuel and Panagiota; his brother, Haralampos; and his siter-in-law, Ploumou Kanos. He is survived by his loving family near and far, his son, Jimmy (Aliki); daughter Mary Frangomichalos (Michael); and his brother, Dimitrios Kanos. He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren, Kostas and Emily Kanos (fiancé Andreas), and Ioannis (fiancé Nicole), and Kostantinos Frangomihalos.

Relatives and friends will be received on Thursday, March 6, 2025, from 10:00am until 11:00am at St. Anthony's Greek Orthodox Church, 430 W. Wheat Road, Vineland, followed by a funeral service at 11:00am. Interment will be held in Siloam Cemetery, Vineland.
