Salvatore Del Buono died peacefully on March 16, 2025, surrounded by his family.

He was born on April 12, 1943, in Ventnor, NJ, and graduated from Sacred Heart High School in 1961. Sal and his wife Elaine owned Country News and Gifts in Vineland for 43 years, changing it from a convenience store in the beginning to a card and gift shop. He devoted his time and life to their business. He loved seeing all his loyal customers every day and enjoyed joking about his love of the Dallas Cowboys. Sal's greatest pleasures were spending weekends with his family, trying out different restaurants, and enjoying a good glass of wine.

He is survived by his wife, Elaine, of 63 years; his daughter, Lisa De Rossi (Bryan); his son, Mark Del Buono (Tara); his grandchildren, Matt De Rossi (Sara), Justin De Rossi (Lindsey), Breanna De Rossi, Gavin Del Buono, Jaden Del Buono, and Trevor Del Buono; great-grandchildren Valentina De Rossi, Anthony De Rossi, and Colson Del Buono; brothers Ralph Del Buono (Nancy) and Joseph Del Buono (Cindy); many nieces and nephews; and sisters-in-law, Jeannie Volpe (Gene), and Judy Berti. He was predeceased by his parents, Ralph and Nancy Del Buono.

A viewing will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2025, from 9:00am until 11:00am at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home, 2755 S. Lincoln Avenue, Vineland. A private funeral will be held for immediate family only.
