Obituary of Frances L. Dutra

Frances Louise (Maniscalco) Dutra, 93, of Vineland, New Jersey passed away peacefully on March 9th 2025 at Inspira Hospital. Frances was born in Vineland to Louise (Girone) and Joseph Maniscalco on August 9th, 1931. She graduated from Sacred Heart High School in 1950. Frances went on to become a licensed cosmetologist graduating from Karlton School of Beauty Culture, Philadelphia, PA. She married in 1952 and had six children. She enjoyed hairdressing, bowling for the St Francis of Assisi bowling league, Thursday luncheons with her Sacred Heart High School classmates, cooking and cookbooks, going to the shore, music, shopping, and her family.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, John Dutra Jr., Lisa Molinelli (John), TraceyAnn Dutra, Thomas Dutra (Sandy), and Jeffrey Dutra (Amy); daughter-in-law, Cindy Dutra; 8 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and her Aunt Marie (Dolly) Jaksec of Tampa Florida.

Frances is predeceased by her husband of 61 years, John Dutra Sr., her parents, son, Carl Dutra, and sisters, Marietta Voorhees and Joanne Wendling.

Family and friends will be received on Tuesday March 25th from 9:30 am until 11:00am at DeMarco- Luisi Funeral Home, 2755 Lincoln Avenue Vineland, NJ followed by a funeral liturgy at 12:00pm at Padre Pio Parish, 4680 Dante Ave, Vineland, NJ 08361. Burial will follow at St Mary's Cemetery, 736 Union Rd. Vineland, NJ.
