Obituary of John V. Fioresi
John Victor Fioresi, age 80, of Vineland, NJ, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 26, 2025.
Victor was born in Vineland, NJ to John and Allie (Mellini) on May 18th, 1944. He graduated from Vineland High School in 1962. After high school he enlisted in the US Air Force and was stationed in Texas, Japan, and Florida. Afterwards, he went on to earn a business degree from Stockton State College while working full time and raising a family. He worked in Human Resources at Wheaton Plastics for 25 years and briefly at the family business, Fioresi Brothers Tile, Granite & Marble.
Victor loved hunting in Pennsylvania with his cousins and son-in-law as well as on their farm in Landisville. He also enjoyed small game hunting with his friends and feeding the local deer population. In his younger days, Victor played tournament and recreation league softball where his teams were perennial city champions. He took immense pride in tending to his yard, working on projects around the house and fixing numerous ornaments and nick-nacks for his grandchildren. His greatest joy was spending time and vacationing with his family, whether it was in Disney, down the beach in Brigantine drinking a Tanqueray and tonic, or hunting. He will be forever remembered for his giant antipasto salads and jarred peppers.
Victor is survived by his devoted wife of 57 years, Sandra (Bucca) and sister, Diana Eaton. He is also survived by his children: Victor (Christa), Jackie (Jim) Bononcini and Pamela (Jason) Adams; grandchildren: Leo and Gabriel Fioresi, Cameron Picconi (Matt Basden), Daniel Bononcini, Lindsey Adams (Laurence Strazzeri) and Lauren Adams as well as many cousins, nieces and granddogs.
He is predeceased by his parents, John and Allie Fioresi; brother-in-law, Albert Eaton; in-laws, Ned and Margurite Bucca, and sister-in-law, Kay Blough.
