Obituary of Benedetto Pavia

Benedetto Pavia, 86, passed away peacefully on April 1st in his home, surrounded by his son and daughter.

Benny was born on May 20th, 1938, in Perino, Sicily. He emigrated to Vineland in the late 60s in search of a better life for his family and worked as a carpenter at Joffe Millwork & Supply for over 35 years, retiring in 2005.

His greatest passions were spending time with his family, gardening, making his own tomato sauce, collecting coins, and cooking.

He is survived by his daughter, Giovanna (Gio) Pavia; son, Calogero (Jerry) Pavia, along with other extended family here, and in Italy.

Family and friends will be received on Friday, April 4, 2025 from 10:00am until 11:00am, followed by funeral services at 11:00am, at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home, 2755 S. Lincoln Avenue, Vineland. Burial will be held in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Vineland.
