Obituary of James "Jay" F Fouhy III

James (Jay) Francis Fouhy III, of the Richland neighborhood of Buena Vista Township, was called home on September 22, 2023.

Born in Stauton, Virginia, Jay moved with his family to various locations, including Pennsylvania, Missouri, Virginia, and New York, but ultimately landed in New Jersey. Jay graduated from Middletown High School in Middletown, New Jersey, in 1971. From there, he attended Brookdale Community College and then took courses at Stockton College for Cinematography with a goal of making movies. He spent time working at the State Marina in Brigantine, as a car salesman, and eventually went into business for himself as a self-taught handyman/contractor. Jay enjoyed off roading in his Jeeps, golfing, riding his Harley, and having a good time.

Jay is predeceased by his wife, Lynne Fouhy (nee Ramos); his mother, Katherine F. Fouhy; and his father, James F. Fouhy II. He is survived by his two daughters, Katherine (KT) Fouhy, and Samantha Fouhy; granddaughter Nova Lynne Turkali; and significant other, Jacqueline Gould.

Relatives and friends will be received on Friday, September 29, 2023, from 10:00am until 11:00am at Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Parish/St. Michael's Church, 504 S. West Ave, Minotola, NJ 08341. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:30am. Interment will be held in Our Lady of Victories Cemetery, Landisville.
