Obituary of John W Langley

On Saturday October 21,2023 John was taken home by The Lord after a brief yet courageous battle with cancer.

John was born on June 17, 1954. After graduating from the Prep, John went on to attend the University of Miami. He returned to N.J. to help his father with his glassblowing business.

John loved all sports and played many such as ice hockey, racquetball, tennis and football. John was an avid golfer, fisherman and loved to sail. He was an extremely talented musician and played bass guitar in several bands.

Later in life, John went back to school and attended Cumberland County College and was awarded a full scholarship to Drexel University for academic excellence. He graduated with honors and earned his degree in computer sciences.

John worked as a supervisor for the City of Vineland Road department for about 25 years.

He is predeceased by his brother Russell Langley, his father Russell Langley and his mother Lucille Garofolo.

He is survived by his eldest son Russell from Philadelphia, PA and his youngest son Michael from Buena, N.J. John was very proud of his sons and loved them dearly.

John will be missed by his many devoted friends and extended family.

Funeral arrangements will be private.
