Betty Monteleone, 80, of Millville, NJ, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on December 22, 2023 at Inspira Medical Center in Vineland, NJ.

Betty was born in Elk Park, NC to Earl and Senia Harmon on January 11, 1943. She went to high school at Cranberry High School and graduated in 1960. She worked as a restaurant consultant for over 20 years specializing in the opening of restaurants for Westport Restaurants Association. She then worked in the Sales Control Department at Boscov's for 18 years.

She enjoyed gardening, cooking, baking, sewing, traveling, and spending time with her friends and family.

Betty is survived by her loving husband, Jim Monteleone of Millville, NJ, her daughter Barbara Conicello (Gregory), her son John Burch (Jamie). Her eight grandsons, Chad Conicello (Jennifer), Brad Conicello (Becky), Derek Conicello (Madeline), Kevin Burch (Carli), Brian Burch (Amber), Christopher Burch, Tyler Burch, and Brandon Burch. Her six great-grandchildren, William Conicello, Samuel Conicello, James Conicello, Stevie Burch, Elizabeth Conicello, and Evelyn Conicello.

Visitation will be held at DeMarco - Luisi Funeral Home, 2755 S. Lincoln Ave. Vineland, NJ 08361 on Wednesday, December 27, 2023 from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM. A private, family funeral service and burial will be held in Doylestown, PA.

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations be made in her honor to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the MICU, SICU, and Surgical Progressive Care Unit staff at Inspira Medical Center Vineland for their exceptional care and compassion.
