Shawn Sterling Winfield, 55 of Malaga, New Jersey, passed away on January 3rd, 2024 in Las Cruces, New Mexico.

Shawn was born in Vineland, New Jersey to James and Gloria Winfield on September 12th, 1968. He went to high school at Delsea Regional High School and graduated in 1987. Shawn worked as a truck driver for Bradway for some time. He enjoyed playing with his dogs, spending time with friends and family, and volunteering at the food pantry at Malaga Methodist Church. Shawn served in the United States Navy in VS-33 "Screw birds". He was aboard the USS Nimitz and served during the Gulf War.

Shawn is survived by his sister Dawne, and her husband Rocco Belfiore, of Newfield; nieces, Gianna and Roxanne Belfiore; great nephew, Aiden Glamp. As well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his parents, James and Gloria Winfield.

Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, January 17, 2024, from 10:00am until 11:30am followed by a funeral service at 11:30am at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home, 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland. Burial will follow at Malaga Methodist Cemetery, Delsea Dr., Malaga, NJ.
