Obituary of Mary Dorothy Lore

Mary D. (Hudson) Lore, 79, of Milford, DE and formerly of Newport, NJ, went to be with the Lord on Monday, April 4, 2016. Mary was a graduate of Bridgeton High School and Glassboro State College. She taught at the elementary school in Port Elizabeth and later owned and operated the Newcomb House, a unique gift shop in Newport. Mary enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and was an avid antiquer. Church was also an important part of Mary’s life. Mary is survived by her husband, Charles A. Lore of Milford, DE; one son, Kenneth C. Lore of Newport, NJ; one daughter, Susan M. Dimacale of Vineland, NJ; two sisters: Kathleen DeMarco and Rosemarie Newman, both of Millville, NJ; two brothers: Herbert Hudson of Southport, NC and John Hudson of Millville; six grandchildren: Jacob, Zachary, and Lucas Dunn; and Joshua, Joseph, and Juliene Lore; and one great grandchild, Jenna L. Lore. A memorial service and interment will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
