Michael J. Taylor, 72 of Vineland, passed away on Friday, February 3, 2017 at Inspira Medical Center, Vineland. He served in the United States Navy on the USS Saratoga Aircraft Carrier as an aircraft refueler on the flight deck, during the Vietnam War. Michael belonged to the National Rifle Association and the South Jersey Shooting Club. He loved the sea and was an avid music lover and enjoyed country line dancing. Michael retired as an OTR truck driver and a heavy duty truck mechanic. He is predeceased by his parents, Carlton H. Taylor, Sr. and Mary (Miller) Wires; a brother, Gordon Taylor and sister, Jacklyn. He is survived by 2 sons; Michael W. Taylor and James E. Taylor; 1 daughter, Michele L. Loeser; 2 daughter-in-laws, Tina and Sharon; 1 son-in-law, Rudi Loeser; 7 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren; 3 brothers, Ray Taylor of IN, David Taylor of MI, Carlton H. Taylor of SC; 3 sisters, Mary Ellen of IN, Georgene of FL, Linda of IN; 3 sister-in-laws, Kay, Linda Sue and Marcia and his canine buddy Fiona. Funeral services will be private.
