Obituary of Anthony G Davidson

Anthony G. Davidson, 91 of Vineland, NJ passed away on Thursday, June 15, 2017 at Inspira Medical Center, Vineland. Born in Kingston, Jamaica, he lived in Vineland for over 50 years.

Anthony worked for West Company of Millville for many years as a glass blower.

He was a member of the Knights of Columbus of St. Mary's Church, Council 6513, Malaga, the Sierra Club and was the past president and treasurer of the Legion of Mary of St. Mary's Church, Malaga. Anthony also helped Father Hewitt with his prison ministry and also was a Eucharistic Minister for Inspira Medical Center, Vineland.

He is predeceased by 1 son, Robert Davidson; 3 sisters, Emitta and Geraldine Davidson and Leocia Curniff.

Anthony is survived by his wife of 66 years, Joyce (Pinto) Davidson of Vineland; 4 sons, Keith Davidson of Vineland, Patrick Davidson of Jamaica, Paul and Mark Davidson both of Georgia; 5 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Saturday at 11am at the Daughters of Our Lady of Mercy Chapel, Villa Rosello, 1009 Main Rd. Newfield, NJ 08344. Entombment will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery Mausoleum, Vineland. Family and friends will be received on Saturday morning at the church from 10am to 11am. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Daughters of Our Lady of Mercy, (convent) 1009 Main Rd. Newfield, NJ 08344. Arrangements are by DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S.
