Obituary of Miguel Angel Santos-Alvarez

Miguel Angel Santos-Alvarez, 44, passed away on Friday, September 7, 2018 at his residence in Vineland, NJ. Miguel was born and raised in Almoloya de Alquisiras, Toluca, Mexico. He worked as a forklift operator for Agro, formally known as Lucca Freezer and Cold Storage for over 20 years. Miguel was known as "Kora" to all of his friends and co-workers. He was a loving husband, father, son, grandfather, brother-in-law, uncle and friend to all. Miguel is survived by his wife, Linda V. Berrios; his parents, Simeon Santos-Perez and Soledad Alvarez-Acosta; his daughter, Arianna G. Baez and son, Jonathan Baez; his sisters, Beatriz Santos-Alvarez, Petra Santos-Alvarez, Ascension Santos-Alvarez, Yolanda Santos-Alvarez, Leticia Santos-Alvarez and Patricia Santos-Alvarez; his brothers, Justino Santos-Alvarez and Simeon Santos-Alvarez; granddaughters, Angelica L. Rodriguez and Ariel G. Rodriguez; and a grandson, Yaniel E. Baez; as well as, many nieces and nephews in the USA and Mexico, to include Gabriel A. Vega and Joselyn O. Vega of Vineland, NJ. Family and friends will be received on Monday evening from 6pm to 8pm and again on Tuesday morning from 9am to 10am, followed by a funeral service at 10am at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland. Miguel will be laid to rest at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Vineland. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that contributions be made directly to Linda V. Berrios.
