Obituary of Anthony Rocco Picerno

Anthony "Tony" Rocco Picerno, Jr., The man with a contagious smile, unexpectedly departed this life on Wednesday, September 26, 2018, in Millville, N.J. at the young age of 35.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Kathy Ann Sanderlin of Millville, N.J. and his grandfather, Loren Jones of Millville, N.J.

Anthony is survived by his beautiful wife whom he loved very much, Monica (Clark) Picerno from Bridgeton, N.J.; their sweet baby boy, Rocco William Picerno; his father, Anthony "Rocky" Rocco Picerno Sr (Cindy) from Upper Deerfield Township, N.J.; his grandmother, Marlene Jones from Millville, N.J.; his older sister, Stacy Quinn (Larry) from Millville, N.J.; his younger brother, Stephen Picerno from Pittsgrove Township, N.J. and his uncles, Ronald Sanderlin (Dee) and David Sanderlin (Lisa). He has also left behind nephews who he adored.

Anthony was born on October 9, 1982 in Bridgeton, N.J. to Kathy Ann Sanderlin and Anthony Rocco Picerno Sr. Anthony graduated from Millville Senior High School in 2001, he graduated from Cumberland County College in 2015 with an Associate's Degree in Social Sciences and graduated again in 2017 with a Bachelor's Degree in Behavioral Science.

Anthony was a loving and devoted father, husband, brother, son, grandson, uncle and friend. His smile would light up an entire room. He loved spending time with his family; every possible second he could get was spent with his son and lovely wife. He enjoyed going to Atlantic City for weekend trips and he loved the family vacations to Walt Disney World in Florida.

Family and friends will be received on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 11:30 a.m. at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Avenue in Vineland, N.J. Anthony will be laid to rest at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Millville, N.J.
