Brennan, Eugene "Gene" December 27, 1931- October 3, 2018 On October 3, 2018, Eugene Brennan passed away peacefully at the NJ Veterans Memorial Home in Vineland, surrounded by family. Eugene is survived by his wife, Charlotte Brennan (née Scott); his daughters, Diane Wasson (Wallace) and Patricia Spila (Joseph); his granddaughters, Holly, Ashley and Rylee and brothers, sister, nieces and nephews. Eugene served 23 years in the U.S. Army and fought in the Korean and Vietnam Wars where he received a Purple Heart along with other medals for his bravery. Eugene resided in New Jersey, North Carolina, Panama and Alabama during his life. He loved to play cards, dominoes and tell jokes and also loved to go to the racetrack and bet on the horses. Eugene was a kind hearted man and would give you the shirt off his back. He will be greatly missed by all. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at 11am at St. Mary's Church, 426 Monmouth Street Gloucester City, NJ. 08030, followed by inurnment at the Gloucester County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 240 N. Tuckahoe Rd. Williamstown, NJ 08094. A Luncheon to follow cemetery services at 3pm at Geet's Diner, 14 N. Black Horse Pike, Williamstown, NJ 08094. Arrangements are by DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home, 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland.
