Obituary of Eugene A. Brunson

Please share a memory of Eugene to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Mr. Eugene Brunson entered this world on March 18, 1960 and was the beloved son of Henry G. Lindsey and Louise M. Lindsey. He was better known as GeneGene or Little Gene or as his children would lovingly call him, Dad. He departed this life on October 7, 2018 at his residence 1153 Fairmount Ave Vineland New Jersey. This was the place that he called home his safe haven. Gene was a unique person he could make you laugh no matter how bad a situation was. He would be able to find something funny to lighten the mood. As we sit here tonight I know we all share fond memories of him. Some of them good and some were bad but for life is not perfect and by no means am I saying that my brother was perfect. One thing for sure he was perfectly him. Gene was very family oriented, his greatest accomplishments were his children, Aisa Drumond age 26, and one grandchild on the way. Eugene Brunson Jr. age 15 of Vineland NJ, and Anastasia Brunson age 12. Gene's hobbies were cooking, fishing, spending time family and working at the Flea Markets with long time and loyal friend Calvin. Gene performed jobs as a Landscaper and handy man. There are so many thoughts rushing through my head right now as I sit here trying to write this Eulogy for Gene its harder than you might think. I can hear you say Little One do your best and that is all you can do. I will try to make you proud. Death called you this day leaving so many words left to say, but now its too late for your time has come. Words unspoken I am sure that everybody had some. Regrets and wishes are probably there too, but lasting forever will be memories of you. There are times that we have disagreed but we were still there for each other in time of need. This life is filled with pain and sorrow and I don't know if I will see tomorrow. One thing is certain I am gonna miss you. I think about the joy, the laughter and the tears. There was no chance to say Goodbye but deep inside I know that you are okay. I now know the meaning of silence being so loud. Because you left so fast now all we have is memories of the past. You are loved by so many. You might not have known but in our hearts you have grown. The memories that we've had throughout the years will last forever with laughter and tears. I will not say goodbye, I will just say see you later for I know that I will see you again in another place and time. I love you more than Jelly Beans and that is serious. Gene leaves behind one sister, Luella L Betterson of Buena NJ; a niece, Latia Sutton Peterson; a nephew, Voshell M Little; Fiance, Katrina Lister; great niece, Treasure Little age 4; Zerenity Litttle age 1 mo; niece, Diamond Better- Howard; great nephew, Donald Nowell age 11; Dakota Betterson age 8 and Eden Betterson-Howard age 3; nephew, Dallas Betterson and girlfriend, Ayeola Hamani and 2 great nephews, Emmitt Betterson age 1 and Emarii Betterson age 3 weeks. Eugene leaves behind a host of family members and friends. There is one Very Special Person whom I owe a debt of gratitude and you know who you are. I love you to the moon and back.
