Obituary of Dahlia Leon

VINELAND-Dahlia (Cenal) Leon, 92 of Vineland, passed away peacefully on November 12, 2018 at the Inspira Medical Center after a brief illness. She and her late husband, Manuel Leon, operated a large poultry farm in Franklin Township for more than 30 years until his death in 1979. She worked at both the Schwarzman's Department store and the JC Penney store at the Cumberland Mall before joining the staff of the Vineland Municipal Court where she worked until her retirement. She is survived by her son, Robert Leon of Mays Landing; daughter, Linda Rumick (Frank) of Millville; granddaughter, Michele Leon (whom she raised) of Dandridge, TN; granddaughters, Dana Ruegger (Matt) and Victoria Springsteen, both of Vineland; grandson, Manuel Leon III and granddaughter, Lisa Leon, both of Tennessee; and six great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Manuel Leon and her son, Manuel Leon Jr. Services and burial will be private. Arrangements are by DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland, NJ.
