Michael Fiocchi, Jr. 37 of Vineland passed away suddenly at Cooper Medical Center on Sunday, November 4, 2012. He was a VHS graduate, Class of 1993 and attended Stockton State College.
Mikey loved playing hockey and baseball, watching the Phillies, Eagles and Flyers. He enjoyed Fantasy Football, attending the Phillies, Flyers and Eagles home games and was an avid reader. He especially enjoyed the Harry Potter series. He often waited in line at midnight to see the premier of the latest Harry Potter movie.
Mikey played Varsity Baseball at VHS and after graduating, he managed the VHS Girls Field Hockey team and worked at Mia's Pizzeria in Winslow Township.
He is pre-deceased by his mother, Linda Ostroff and Uncle, Don Goldstein; his paternal grandparents, Michael Fiocchi and Louella Fiocchi West.
Survived by his parents, Michael Fiocchi, Sr. and stepmother, Sandra Fiocchi; Brother, Timothy Fiocchi, wife Ashleigh and children Tristin, Alexandra and Dasia (stepdaughter), his maternal grandparents, Evelyn and Irving Goldstein; stepfather, Lee Ostroff; aunts and uncles, Sandra & Robert Rigalizzo, Sheree & Steven Majer [children Ariana and Nathan], Brian Curley [children Alex and Dennis],Anne Goldstein, Karen and Doug Valente, his cousins, Michelle Clark, husband Michael and children Jonny, Brian and Michael; Jennifer Donnelly, husband Tom and children TJ, Ryan and Jessica and JoLynn Weaver and children Eddie and Larissa. Step Grandparents, Pat (Curley) Fortuna and husband Tony and Joseph Curley and companion Jean Hackett.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 10, 2012 at 4pm at the DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland. Burial will be private. Friends will be received on Saturday from 2pm to 4pm at the funeral home.
