Veronica L. Johnson-Pierce, age 48, passed away at home on Saturday, April 27th, 2019. Born in Mansfield, Ohio, she was the daughter of Edward Johnson and Virleana France Johnson. Veronica was a resident of Deerfield Township, NJ for the past 20 years and lived in Upper Deerfield, NJ for 7 years prior to that. She married Donald B. Pierce III September 4th, 1992. In addition to her husband, Donald B. Pierce III, she is survived by her son, Donald B. Pierce IV of Deerfield Township. She is also survived by her brother, Kelly Johnson of Mansfield, OH and mother, Virleana Johnson of Mansfield, OH, as well as many nieces and nephews in NJ, DE, and OH. Veronica was a member of the Centerton Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. She symbolized her dedication to Jehovah God by water baptism on November 3rd, 1990. Veronica enjoyed spending time in her ministry and sharing her faith and hope for the future with others. She also enjoyed children and was loved by many that enjoyed calling her Aunt Veronica and Aunt Roni. She loved her job and being with all of the students at Lakeside Middle School in Millville. Veronica was an avid reader and especially enjoyed traveling around the globe with her family. Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the family this Saturday, May 4, 2019 from 2pm to 4pm, followed by a funeral talk starting at 4pm at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home, 2755 S. Lincoln Avenue, Vineland, NJ.
