Hi! It’s Joseph again. I am going to have a memorial brick installed at our lady of Fatima shrine at malvern retreat house in memory of Tom. It will read, A gentle man Thomas E Pierce 1943 - 2019

My name is Joseph, I 1st met Tom at a malvern retreat at st Joseph’s in the hills retreat house. It was the 1st time they mentioned the book the last rose will be coming to book stores. I went up to Tom and told him I will be looking for the book a looking forward to reading it. Not 5 minutes later he handed me a copy of the book... of course he would not let me pay for it. I knew from the 1st time I met him he was a kind and gentle man. I would look for him every year at retreat. I am right now at malvern retreat and wonder if he was coming. Each year when we said good bye see you next year I would get choked up and we would hug. I found out 45 mins ago that he passed. I will probably be crying sometime tonight for ‘our’ loss. The worlds loss. Gods peace and love to his family and friends...Joe. If you would like the family can text or call me at 215-300-7214. Tom was and is a great man and the worlds loss. Peace, joe

Thomas’s family: I'm so sorry for your loss. I went through a similar situation and I was very helped by the hope that I found in the Bible in John 5:28, which says, "Do not amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". I am sending you a link with more information on this hope.
