John Jost, Sr. 81 of Vineland, died Thursday, November 15, 2012 at the SJ Regional Medical Center. Born in Vineland, he was a lifelong area resident.
He was a self-employed barber in Vineland for 50 years, Jost's Barber Shop. John was a veteran of the Korean War, serving in the U.S. Marines Corp. He was an usher at St. Francis of Assisi Church and enjoyed horseracing and sports, especially the Eagles and Phillies.
He is predeceased by his brothers, Thomas, Luke, George, and Paul (twin), 3 sisters Agnes, Genevieve and Clara.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Julia (Tanger) Jost of Vineland

1 brother: Walter Jost of Newfield

Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 3:30pm at the DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S Lincoln Ave., Vineland. Burial will be private. Friends will be received on Saturday from 2pm to 4pm at the funeral home.
