Pedro Lozada, 70, affectionately known as "Pop-Pop" of Vineland, NJ went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 3, 2019 after battling cancer for the past two years. He is predeceased by his parents, Juan Lozada and Francisca Soto in addition to grandson, Rodney Rivera. Pedro was born and raised in Ciales, Puerto Rico. He lived in the Vineland area for the past 30 years where he worked as a machine cutter for Crown Clothing Co. retiring in 2011. He is survived by his life partner, Evelyn Valderrama, of the past 45 years; two brothers, Juan Antonio and Jose Rafael both of Puerto Rico; four sisters, Marina, Haydee and Minerva all of Puerto Rico and Carmen of Connecticut; three sons, Nelson Rivera Jr. (partner Iris Navarro), Andre Alberto Rivera (wife Marlena Rivera), and Luis Angel Lozada; five grandchildren, Bianca Rivera, Andre Alberto Rivera II, Luis Angel Lozada II, Justin Lee Rivera (wife Ruth Rivera), and Jeremias Rivera; three great grandchildren, Josue Andre Adorno, Elianna Carter, and Natalia Lee Rivera; many nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received on Thursday, August 8, 2019 from 9am to 10:45am followed by a Funeral Liturgy at 11am at Divine Mercy Parish, 23 West Chestnut Avenue, Vineland, N.J. Pedro "Pop-Pop" will be laid to rest at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Vineland. Arrangements are by DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home, 2755 S. Lincoln Ave. Vineland.
