Elizabeth E. Krason, 91 of Vineland, died Thursday, November 22, 2012 at the SJH Hospice Center, Bridgeton. Born in Mt. Pleasant, Pa., she lived in Pittsburgh, Pa and then moved to Vineland, NJ. Upon retiring, she moved to Virginia and then to Florida, before moving back to Vineland.
Elizabeth was employed by the Vineland Developmental Center as a cottage supervisor for 25 years. She enjoyed traveling around the world, rafting down the Colorado River with her beloved husband, Joe. She also enjoyed playing cards, bingo and sharing special moments and stories from her great grandchildren.
She is predeceased by her beloved husband, Joseph, son Richard and daughter Rebecca and her sisters, Dorothy and Margaret and brother John.
She is survived by:
Daughter: Charlotte Farside of Vineland
Daughter-in-law: Barbara Krason of Missouri
7 grandchildren: Richard, Karen, and Jennifer Farside
Cindy Howard, Chelsea Matej, Kristine Costello and Richard Krason
6 great grandchildren
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 1, 2012 at 3:30pm at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland. Burial will be private. Friends will be received on Saturday from 2pm to 4pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 1060 N. Kings Highway, Cherry Hill, NJ 08034. (Diabetes.org/honor)
