I met Frankie in an addiction recovery support group on facebook back in 2012 and became good friends, we never met in real life, just Facebook and texting, We’d stay up til 3am playing trivia crack lol... we fell in and out of touch over the years, as we both struggled with relapsing & sobriety, I finally got on a methadone program jn May of 2016 and been clean since. I tried to talk him into methadone (he had done suboxone but it didn’t work) but he refused. I had a son in 2019, so fell out of touch with a lot of people and I today realized I hadn’t seen him post in a long time and went on his profile and didn’t see any recent posts. I googled his name and my heart dropped. This disease is heartbreaking, my thoughts and prayers are with Frankie’s family & loved ones.

I have quite a few memories with Frankie, one summer me, Frankie, and Doug debello (sorry if I spelled his name wrong). During that summer the 3 of us camped out numerous time, but the funniest time was when the 3 of us camped out in my back yard and as we were waking up in the morning, Frankie said one of the funniest things I ever heard!! I don't remember it word for word but it went something like this; please excuse the content but it's what made it so funny!! He woke up like he was uncomfortable and started complaining and it went something like this, " man I slept like shit last night, I'm hungry, I'm hot, and I got a big fucking BONER right now!!" Lmao, I'm laughing right now as I share this!! Again sorry for the content but that's what made it so funny. I remember camping in those scary woods that used to be behind his house, I got a bunch of memories!! Frankie and I still talked, I spoke with him a couple weeks ago, we just didn't hang out much because my addiction was with Percocet, I never graduated to heroin (thank God) but Percocets are just as bad too. I still struggle with it, so I know exactly how he felt and went through. He actually helped me out a few times when I would withdraw and give me some suboxone. I am def going to miss him, honestly we would talk and with his experience and knowledge of it, I never thought it would take !! Goodbye Frankie, see you in the next life my dude!!
