Denise M. Burns, (nee Lillia), passed away on November 16, 2019 at the age of 45 years. She was a longtime resident of Newfield, NJ.
She is predeceased by her grandparents, John and Jeanne Higgins and Murphy, her beloved pup.
Loving wife to Jeff and an amazing daughter to Linda Nuskey; sister to Scott McCluskey (Mindy), Brianna Marie Fisher, Ashlin Le-Ann Loder, Lisa Gellert (Chris); SMOTHER to Cody (Deonna), Dalton (Rachel), Aidan and Landon; step MomMom to Blake; adoring niece to Gale Frey, Wayne Higgins (Barb) and Gary Higgins (Shu-Ching); cousin to Jennifer, Michael (Megan), Nicole, Brenda Mixner (Chuck), Shawn Higgins (Laura) and Wayne Higgins, Tain, Christoper and Eric; cherished aunt to Tyler, Julia, Peyton, Kehlani, Ashley, Michael, Aiden, Camron, Dominic and Nikolas. There are also so many family members that love and cherish Denise.
Denise was born on November 2, 1974 in Hammonton NJ. She grew up in Newfield and loved her time playing softball with so many of her friends. She attended Delsea Regional High School and graduated from Vineland High in 1993. Denise lived her early life to the fullest and finally laid down her roots at PHH Mortgage in Mt. Laurel.
She loved her family and friends to the fullest and would give and do anything for each and every one of them. She adopted Murphy, her pup, and he was her world. Denise loved traveling, the beach, her Ankylosing Spondylitis community, youtube, getting new cars and especially her facebook community. But most of all she loved her husband, her mom and her step children, who they lovingly called SMOTHER.
We are encouraging family members and friends to share their wonderful stories of Denise on Friday morning November 22, 2019 from 9:00AM to 11:00AM, with services immediately following at 11am at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home, 2755 Lincoln Ave, Vineland NJ. Denise will be laid to rest at the Gloucester County Veterans Cemetery, 240 Tuckahoe Rd, Williamstown NJ. In lieu of flowers please make contributions in Denise's name to the Spondylitis Association of America, 16360 Roscoe Blvd., Ste. 100, Van Nuys, CA 91406.
