Obituary of Amparo Maldonado

Amparo (Rivera) Maldonado, 81 of Landisville, NJ, died Saturday, December 8, 2012 at the SJH Hospice Center, Bridgeton. Born in Utuado, Puerto Rico, she had moved to Pleasantville, NJ and then to Landisville, NJ., 60 years ago. Amparo was employed by Levari Farm and Garden Center for over 5 years. She also worked for local clothing companies for 15 years but mostly, she was a homemaker. She enjoyed gardening, bird watching and feeding them. She was a loving and caring mother and grandmother. She also enjoyed when her family came to visit at her home. Amparo was an active member of Our Lady of The Blessed Sacrament Parish and its activities. She is predeceased by her husband of 58 years, Ermelindo Maldonado. She is survived by: 3 sons: Carlos Maldonado and wife Mayra of Vineland Ermelindo Maldonado, Jr. and wife Sophie of Buena Ralph Maldonado of Landisville 1daughter: Gaudiosa Maldonado of Landisville 2 brothers: Luis A Rivera of PA. Domingo Rivera of PR 2 sisters: Ana Rosa Rivera and Emilia Davila both of PR 6 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10am at Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Parish (Our Lady of Victories Church). Burial will follow in Our Lady of Victories Cemetery, Landisville. Friends will be received on Tuesday evening from 6pm to 8pm at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland and again on Wednesday morning at the CHURCH from 8:30am to 9:30am.
