Obituary of George A Cummings

George A. Cummings, 82 of Vineland, died Saturday, December 22, 2012 at Cooper Medical Center, Camden. Born in New Castle, PA., he was a resident of Vineland for 44 years. George was a veteran of the Korean War, serving in the United States Army. He was employed by the City of Vineland for over 20 years in the engineering department as a draftsman. He attended and was an active member of the Greek Orthodox Church of St. Anthony. He was a member of the A.H.E.P.A. Association of the Greek Orthodox Church and the Moose Lodge of Vineland. He enjoyed going to the Seventh Day Adventist Church on 8th Street to study the bible. He also enjoyed photography, his stamp collection, but most of all he enjoyed his family and friends. He is survived by his sister, Helen G. Mougakos of Vineland 2 nephews: David and Peter Mougakos both of Vineland Great nephew: Damian Mougakos of Vineland Great niece: Nicole DiNinno of Newfield Great great niece: Melissa Saraday of Newfield A Funeral Liturgy will be held on Friday at 12noon at the Greek Orthodox Church of St. Anthony, 430 W. Wheat Road, Vineland. Burial will follow in the Cumberland Co. Veterans Cemetery, Trench Road, Bridgeton. Friends will be received on Friday from 10am to 12noon at the CHURCH. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the church. Arrangements are by DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland.
