Obituary of Nhat Truong

Nhat Truong was born in 1928 in Ninh Binh, North Vietnam. In 1954, she immigrated to Saigon, Vietnam with her husband, Pham Van Du. During this time, she raised her 8 kids, and made sure they were loved. In 1990, she then immigrated to New Jersey where she was reunited with her family. New Jersey is where she continued to see her family grow. She passed away peacefully on March 9, 2020. She was preceded in death by her husband and survived by her daughter, Diep; son Phu; daughter, Lan; daughter, Hue; daughter, Cuc and daughter, Trinh. She was also loved by her 15 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Nhat Truong was a compassionate, supportive, and intelligent woman. She enjoyed reading the Buddhist bible daily, loved playing cards with family, watching Vietnamese cooking videos, and playing with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She always looked forward to family gatherings. She will be greatly missed by all those whose lives she touched. Private funeral services for family only will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2020 from 9am to 11am, followed by a public viewing from 11am to 1pm at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland. Cremation will follow at Laurel Lawn Crematory, 170 Old Deerfield Pike, Bridgeton, NJ 08302.
