Obituary of Christopher Hendershot

Wednesday, December 12, 2012, God said to Chris, "Your work is done.come rest with me before you begin your work in Heaven." Christopher Brian Hendershot was born in Bridgeton, NJ. He was a lifelong resident of the Cumberland County area and a graduate of CRHS Class of 2007. He was employed by his Best Buy family in Vineland for 5 years, as a sales associate. Chris enjoyed spending time with family and friends, but the times he had to himself was spent playing his guitar and video games. He was a loving son, brother and grandson. He is predeceased by his paternal grandfather, John Hendershot. Survived by his mother, Kathy Foster-Hendershot and father, Ed Hendershot, one sister, Kate Hendershot, paternal grandmother, Joan Hendershot, maternal grandparents, Helle Mai and George Locker. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 29, 2012 at 4:30pm at the DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland. Friends will be received on Saturday from 2pm to 4:30pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the New Jersey Sharing Network, 691 Central Ave., New Providence, NJ 07974, as Chris was an organ donor.
