Obituary of Eleni Athanasiadis

It is with great sadness today that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Eleni (Kiritsis) Athanasiadis at the age of 88. Eleni was born in Grizano Greece on January 5, 1932. Eleni and her family immigrated to Hammonton, New Jersey in 1970 where she lived ever since. Eleni is predeceased by her husband, Georgios Athanasiadis and her son, Dimitrios Athans. Eleni leaves behind her son, Louie (Elia) Athans and his wife Chrisoula; her daughter in law, Ida; her brothers, Kosta and Alex Kiritsis (Beatrice); her sisters, Athena, Katerina and Yianoula (John); her grandchildren, George and wife Cristal, Athanasios (Saki) and wife, Eshwary, Vasili, Elaina, Dimitri and wife Caitlin, Giorgio and wife Candice; great granddaughters, Elliana and Mila; nieces, Metaxia ,Zoe, Madeline and Dina and many more cousins, nieces and nephews. Eleni was a member of the St. Anthony's Greek Orthodox Church. She was a strong, independent proud woman who took joy in her grandchildren. May she Rest in Peace!
